About This Project

The NCDOT wanted to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Booze and Lose it, the very successful public awareness campaign that has saved countless lives on North Carolina’s highways with its strong law enforcement message. So, MSA traveled the state from the mountains to the coast creating mini documentaries of twenty people whose lives have been dramatically affected by impaired driving. From the perspective of parents who lost children, to law enforcement officers, to the perpetrators themselves, this library of online videos form a powerful and persuasive testimony to this deadly issue.
